# get_ledger_statement

> MCP tool that returns transaction history and a running balance for a single ledger account, useful for drilling into bank, expense, or revenue activity.

Returns a detailed statement for a single ledger account (chart of accounts entry), including every transaction that hit the account over the requested period along with a running balance. Use this tool when you need to drill into the activity of a specific account — for example, a bank account, a specific expense category, or a revenue line.
